Dark Poem - "The Untold Story of Humpty Dumpty"

Humpty Dumpty sat on a wall.
Humpty Dumpty had a great fall.
All the kings' horses and all the king's men,
Couldn't put Humpty together again.

Through all of His screams and all of the wails,
The men quickly saw that they had all failed.
Filled with despair and with pain in their eyes,
All the king's men took their own lives.

In front of the wave of death being done,
Even the king joined in on the fun.
With the flick of his wrist as fast as a flash,
The king's own throat had deeply been slashed.

On this cold night filled with chaos,
Humpty's body rose from the frost.
Witnessing those who lied before him,
Humpty Dumpty began to grin...
