Poem about Sexuality: "Stigma"

I want to share a story of one of my good friend
He is an ambivert type of guy as far as I know
He's good-looking, kind, smart and decent
People admire him for his skills and looks.

An eidolon and very ambitious lad he is;
But people don't know the battle inside him;
He kept it within himself, encrypted in his diary
A very dark, morbid and shameful realm;

That's the world he used to dwell into.
I remember that day when he utters those words -
"I'm bisexual and nobody knows"
And I was shocked, felt pity for him.

Wondering how elusive it is to hide his real identity;
Sadness has plastered my countenance;
Enduring the darkness inside is suffocating,
Lost in his wilderness, isolated from society.

As I look into his eyes, there was haunting
Fear of humiliation have engulfed his visage
I knew he can't handle the wrath of society;
In this stigma about preferences and sexuality.
