Dark Poem - "Broken-winged Sparrow"

Let thy soul be at peace
So you'd sleep calmly at night
May you not judge for what
But the reasons for why

Tears flow as river
Eyes were misty as morning dawn
If only "rewind" is for real in life
Perhaps this shadow might vanish

Your demons have put the hollow
As you knelt down on your ebb
Rekindle the hope within thyself
Heartless it may seem but it may glow

It was a crucible in disguise
But you chose it still for its pleasure
Now you're broken-winged sparrow
Can't fly to find his way back home
