Dark Poem: Lost Myself

"You've changed a lot"

That's what they've told me

I wonder what they've seen that altered.

Still no clue to this confusion

I lost the value in every eye

So down and cheap in their minds

Like a coin versus paper comparison

Noise seems to prevail than self-worth

I asked myself in the mirror

"Are you still happy?"

Then I uttered in a hoarse voice;

I'm so tired can't you see?

Perhaps, I've given myself much

To someone who's not worth enough

So I lost myself along this path

Without realizing I was dying inside
