Dark Poem - "Lingering Sadness"

It's another beautiful day

Thank you Lord is all I can say

Waiting for good things to happen

That will make me happy then.

As time had passed by

I am still in bed lying

I don't know why

But I found myself crying.

Happiness or sadness

Which occurs first?

Sweetness with bitterness

Feelings that burst.

This day won't end,

Hoping broken will mend.

But life must go on

Even loneliness shown.
