Dark Poem - "Blistered Soul"

My soul is cursed for its desire
Lust have poisoned my mind, sire
Will I be able to survive this fire?
As it burns me to ashes deep dire

The sky is dark fraught with sorrow
Wind so cold, in this black hollow
Light so dim, so tough to follow
My cross is heavy for tomorrow

Life is jeopardized and sold
As past, brings shame if untold
Daylight shrinks in a million fold
Forlorn soul paid to Eros in the wold

Can tears mend a blistered soul?
Do prayers lift, lighten its toil?
Cause I'm very tired of this moil

Suffocating as hell unending haul
